This is a hand thrown sgraffito mug, made by applying a colored slip on top of the clay and carving through the slip to the lighter surface beneath. Clear glaze on the outside and blue buttermilk glaze on the inside.
 
Dishwasher safe, microwave safe though I always recommend handwashing handmade ceramics!
