Coors National Western Art Exhibit

Growing up in Colorado, I heard "Stock Show" whispers at a young age. But I never really participated or spectated until recently. Aside from the Angus cattle, high end cowboy hat retail booths, and barrel racing, Stock Show has ART. That is ART with a capital "A", as many of the regions finest western artists are featured in this show during the month of January. They include featured artist Sophy Brown , Quang Ho, and my personal friend and photographer Andrew Beckham who also exhibited recently at the Denver Art Museum, (capital "A" art!)

I  am pleased to have a selection of editioned prints this year, as well as the unique monotype with gold leaf, "Bear Mandala", photographed in my studio before framing. The fancy events are ticketed, but you can tour the art exhibit during open hours of stock show, valid with your entry fee.   So check out a ropin', dust shufflin', hootin', hollerin' good time, and see some incredible art too!

From NationalWestern.com:

The Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale is a part of the National Western Stock Show. The exhibit is open to the public the same hours as the Stock Show, January 11-26, 2020. The “Art Room” or gallery is located on the 3rd level of the Expo Hall. There is no additional fee to get into the art gallery, but there is grounds admission to come into the Stock Show.
